CUSTOMIZED no comments
Finally, the guitar that I sent to the shop to be customized to my own liking is finished and I love the outcome. By the way, there are no limits and laws in mutilating your guitar, as long as it fits you, fire away. Customization means configuring, changing, mutilating, adding and subtracting and other stuff that you do to improve your guitar or to make it perform the way you want it to be. Yes, this is very much possible with guitars. Now, talk about customization, I had my old Gibson Les Paul Standard customized. I bought new hardware for it like the Gibson Burstbucker Humbucking Pickup. What asked the shop dude to do with my guitar is to Frankenstein it. Lol. Anyway, I had its original sunburst color removed, and made it looked road worn to get that relic feel similar to those of the Fender Relic, and I removed the Neck Pickup. Replaced it with a single Gibson Burstbucker. Removed all the other controls and placed a single volume control, quite similar with DeLonge’s ES 355 Signature Guitar. The wood is still made of mahogany, the top is natural and aged in color and God, and it’s pretty! You should check it out.
